I feel that I have kept very quiet about my theological ambitions over the years because the scale of the job and the smallness of my self in comparison, make the ambition seem incredible, I am now on the arms of a pincer movement which will force me to begin promoting the idea. On the one hand [I am getting older, and on the other, the world is suffering badly from obsolete theology.]

Secular theology, secular religion.
