KGB page 166: Claud Cockburn: 'A moment comes when your actions have to bear some kind of relation to your words. That is called the Moment of Truth.' Andrew & Gordievsky

The Roman Catholic Church emphasis on mystery is a political ploy o cover up the errors in their system - political epistemology.

Andrew page 406: 'Instead of being subjected to botched show trials like those of Synovsky and Daniel, dissidents were dispatched to mental hospitals where the Fifth Directorate's tame psychiatrists, such as the infamous Dr D R Lunts of Moscow's Serbsky Institute for Forensic Psychiatry diagnoses 'creeping schizophrenia' and 'paranoid reformist delusions'. Once certified insane dissidents lost what remained of their civil rights and were abused with whatever drugs Lunts and his colleagues chose to prescribe. The abuse of psychiatry, however, was based on conviction rather than expediency: the belief generated by the one-party Secret State that the only legitimate values were those of the Party and that dissenters from these values were -- in the words of Andropous' successor as KGB chairman, Vitali Fedorchuk == 'abnormal psyches' who needed to be 're-educated'.

Pour-El, Marian B, and Jonathan I Richards, Computability in Analysis and Physics, Springer-Verlag 1989 Author's Preface: 'This book is concerned with the computability or noncomputability of standard processes in analysis and physics. ... The book is written for a mixed audience. Although it is intended primarily for logicians and analysts, it should be of interest to physicists and computer scientists ... The work is self-contained. ... The reasoning used is classical - i.e. in the tradition of classical mathematics. Thus it is not intuitionist or constructivist in the sense of Brouwer or Bishop.'
