Reading a lot of [news]papers and trying to bridge the gap between politics and nastural theology. Perhaps I should begin to write the religious pages of A new Theology in parallel with the 'scientific'.

She has been and I am thinking ith love. She is in a state.

EMOTION = ENERGY = BOSON
ACTION = FORMALIZED ENERGY (expressed as an algorithm of actions) = FERMION

Emotion is an infinite superposition, a parallel situation, Action is a sequence of elements of a superposition.

Building : executing algorithms upon which my life depends. I can build my future by executing energized structure. [Those things happen which have integral phase]

Phosphorylation is a very clear example of the ubiquitous process of energization, the dynamic expression of potential. Phosphorylation - Wikipedia

Biology: begins with chemistry. -- binding

Religion -- binding

begin to promote my ideas. This must begin with publication, putting the product in the market,

We can use the Cantor symmetry to tighten up the analogies between emotional and physical states. I often feel on the edge of a nervous breakdown, something like a boiler explosion that can be presented by a safety valves which in my case is usually building work, the less complex and heavier the better -- I seem to be happiest restumping houses and making concrete and I strongly dislike beauty treatments like plastering, painting, architraves, skirting, etc. Why? I am a phenomenon (or set of phenomena) to myself and, since I am consistent with my environment, these phenomena, properly understood, can tell me about the world. This is an ancient and persistent insight, expressed characteristically in Lonergan's Insight. This book, like the bulk of Christian thought, is based on a radical misunderstanding of the relationship between matter and spirit. Lonergan

The Bell Network Gertner. Gertner The Idea Factory:

The Universe functions at constant loudness determined by E = mc2 (?)

Zero point energy is ½h, ie potential without kinetic or vice versa, undifferentiated energy, but see cosmological constant problem.

[page 138]

My discipline is engineering metaphysics. What I really want to construct is the Bell labs of theology and religion.

Note: I seem to have dropped web development and come back to reading and notebooks.

Bell network: 'By intention, everyone would be in one another's way.

Semiconductors revolutionized computation and communication (essentially the same thing) by providing a compact and easily manipulated substrate for logical operations. What is the big break through for natural theology: mapping the alphabet of the spiritual world to quantum states: fixed points in the quantum world and the roots of spirituality.

A theological manifesto: Eureka Street.

Social solids, social liquids, social gases (the internet -- a gas is the most abstract (simple) form of communication, collision, as proposed in Bell labs where the collision of two researchers could perhaps lead to communication at higher layers,

Gertner page 184: Bello: 'The preeminent discovery of the twentieth century is the power of organized scientific research.

Reading theological-spring again and I can now see it as the ttle page of The Theology Company.

We (that is the Company and I) have been working on this project for about fifty years, and it seems to be ready to go public as the Mother of All Springs.

Orthogonality : The physical world is orthogonal to

(independent of) the chemical world, but the chemical world needs the physical world for its existence.

We boil it down to a binary change : the Universe is divine / not divine.

What does my new theology mean to me? This will give me a clue about what it means to you, For me it provides a consistent explanation of my place in the world, where I came from and where I am going.

In God we trust: the divine Universe is populated with reliable laws (fixed points) upon which our life and technology depend.

What is my aim in life? I want to be loved and enriched for making people's lives better from their point of view. So far I have done most of this by installing sinks, toilets and hot water systems. But my real aim is to do it by reconstructing the way we think about ourselves and our world. And how is this to be done? First by writing a story, and then by publishing it.

Resisting temptation: go to fire brigade training or work at home in the interests of the children and grand children. So stay home.

Currently theological academia is a giant closed shop based on thin air because its foundations are simply not credible. Are we to seriously believe that the only communication the creator of this magnificent Universe has with us is through a motley collection of books called the Bible? And are we to believe what we think we see in the Bible, etc etc.

From a practical point of view, given the size and diversity of the Universe as we now know it, the Christian Chapter is infinitesimally small although it has been a big deal for many people for nearly two thousand years and many people are fearful of messing with it.

Gertner, Jon, The Idea Factory: Bell Labs and the Great Age of American Innovation, Penguin Press 2012 Book description: 'Bell Laboratories, which thrived from the 1920s to the 1980s, was the most innovative and productive institution of the twentieth century. Long before America's brightest scientific minds began migrating west to Silicon Valley, they flocked to this sylvan campus in the New Jersey suburbs built and funded by AT&T. At its peak, Bell Labs employed nearly fifteen thousand people, twelve hundred of whom had PhDs. Thirteen would go on to win Nobel prizes. It was a citadel of science and scholarship as well as a hotbed of creative thinking. It was, in effect, a factory of ideas whose workings have remained largely hidden until now. New York Times Magazine writer Jon Gertner unveils the unique magic of Bell Labs through the eyes and actions of its scientists. These ingenious, often eccentric men would become revolutionaries, and sometimes legends, whether for inventing radio astronomy in their spare time (and on the company's dime), riding unicycles through the corridors, or pioneering the principles that propel today's technology. In these pages, we learn how radar came to be, and lasers, transistors, satellites, mobile phones, and much more.

Hobson, M P, and G. P. Efstathiou, A. N. Lasenby, General Relativity: An Introduction for Physicists, Cambridge University Press 2006 Amazon Editorial Reviews Book Description 'After reviewing the basic concept of general relativity, this introduction discusses its mathematical background, including the necessary tools of tensor calculus and differential geometry. These tools are used to develop the topic of special relativity and to discuss electromagnetism in Minkowski spacetime. Gravitation as spacetime curvature is introduced and the field equations of general relativity derived. After applying the theory to a wide range of physical situations, the book concludes with a brief discussion of classical field theory and the derivation of general relativity from a variational principle.'

McGregor, Richard, The Party: The Secret World of China's Communist Rulers, Harper 2010 Amazon editorial review: From Publishers Weekly 'McGregor, a journalist at the Financial Times, begins his revelatory and scrupulously reported book with a provocative comparison between China™s Communist Party and the Vatican for their shared cultures of secrecy, pervasive influence, and impenetrability. The author pulls back the curtain on the Party to consider its influence over the industrial economy, military, and local governments. McGregor describes a system operating on a Leninist blueprint and deeply at odds with Western standards of management and transparency. Corruption and the tension between decentralization and national control are recurring themes--and are highlighted in the Party™s handling of the disturbing Sanlu case, in which thousands of babies were poisoned by contaminated milk powder. McGregor makes a clear and convincing case that the 1989 backlash against the Party, inexorable globalization, and technological innovations in communication have made it incumbent on the Party to evolve, and this smart, authoritative book provides valuable insight into how it has--and has not--met the challenge. Phosphorylation - Wikipedia Phosphorylation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 'Phosphorylation is the addition of a phosphate (PO43-) group to a protein or other organic molecule. Phosphorylation turns many protein enzymes on and off, thereby altering their function and activity. Protein phosphorylation in particular plays a significant role in a wide range of cellular processes. Its prominent role in biochemistry is the subject of a very large body of research (as of March 2012, the Medline database returns nearly 200,000 articles on the subject, largely on protein phosphorylation).' back
