Dan Brown etc. Novelization of Portrait of an Abstract Man. Designed to sound like a true story. What is the Church's biggest secret? That it is based on a falsehood. The radical deception at the foundation of the most powerful organization in the world.

The theological corporates are servants of the monarchs feeding in the link to divine right. These bodies would like us to think that their founding scriptures are best sellers because of their theological content. This is not so. They sell because they are gripping stories whose theological content is built on the common experiences of life from childbirth to old age and death.

Religions are a matter of life and death and the arms industry is the merchant of death that feeds off the struggle for survival foisted on us by our evolutionary history.

The true role of theology is to transcend our evolutionary history by a combination if cooperation and productivity. Metanoia.

The purpose of this book is to bolster Jesus' message with some formal foundations which constitute a theology, ie put Jesus message of love into a new language. The language of locality rather than sovereignty [love your neighbour]. The current political context of the commandment of love is a false point of stability. Stability = maximum entropy = equality (symmetry). The mathematics of the level playing field Cantor space. [probability theory Kolmogorov] A term has clicked into place - an eigenvalue. Kolmogorov

Our fundamental vision io the real God comes in the pleasures and pains of the flesh, that is in our concrete reality. The real God is the way things are. Unlike the absolute, eternal, omnipotent and omniscient God of old, the way things are is very flexible. We are a part of God and have a certain amount of control over our lives. We can modify the way things are if we understand what we are doing. Jesus hit the nail on the head: cooperate. The neocons have mistaken a subset if cooperation for the whole and maintain competition is everything and to the victor the spoils.

A good religion must capture the symbolic power of the body. Christianity does it by torture [also eating]. The new religion does it by pleasure. Cooperative pleasure maximization - prudent pleasure. Another term.

God is a public property if ever there was one. One cannot really own the way things are.

A typical theological story is Exodus. Many peoples have probably migrated to escape oppressive masters so there are as

[page 150]

many stories as there are refugees. What the book of Exodus adds is a link between a God and a people embodied in Moses so we see the adventures of Moses and the Hebrews in a theological light. Exodus

Spin / angular momentum / pure action / Planck's constant.

So we give spin 0 to the initial singularity, that is just one state, since there is no space-time so no momentum-energy (yet). Spin once established exists as all levels and can be demonstrated in any space (? as if I could prove this).

Russell page 26: 'Hypocrisy is, of course very necessary to success in life and there is much to be said for the view that those in education should be competent to teach it.' Russell

The classical God, aka the initial singularity has 0 degrees of freedom by which we mean independent fixed points in the dynamics, or we might say a mode of energy.

Computing power comes from abstraction. Money is a very abstract flow which couples to reality by markets [contracts] of one sort or another. Money coupled to itself by interest rates, giving second order effects like gravitation. Interest rate = gravitational constant (?) and some other variable(s) [?].

Brown page 315: 'Constantine was a very good businessman. He could see that Christianity was on the rise and backed the winning horse. Historians still marvel at the brilliance with

which Constantine converted the sun worshipping pagans to Christianity. By fusing pagan symbols, dates and rituals into the growing Christian tradition, he created a sort of hybrid religion that was acceptable to both parties. Syncretism. Syncretism - Wikipedia

Conservation of energy is guaranteed by the fact that all energy comes from the same source at the root of the [universa] tree and is then divided as the branches divide unti it reaches the leaves and then ? [it expires? it is recycled?]

The first versions of most things are made of string and sticky tape. Once there is proof of principle, serious engineering development can begin.

The explanation for the conservation of energy seems absurdly far fetched but logically inevitable if we accept the layered network model. It also provides a fundamental clock as a measure of the Universe and the actual period with which the clock ticks is irrelevant and invisible to us but sets the standard for everything else as its influence propagates through the network. As quantum mechanics makes clear it is only frequency (phase) diferences that count.

I plod on with my carefully crafted reinterpretation of physics because I see it as essential to my project that God be both 'omnino simplex' and 'omnino complex' and the fixed point theory remains my point of contact. Little insights

[page 152]

like this lead me on. Now I am beginning to see 'actus purus' in terms of spin and spin as the key to the emergence of space from time [energy]. The Dirac equation and the 'diron' a system comprising [the] electrons, photons and positrons described by the Dirac equation

The media give both positive and negative feedback. Much of the negative feedback, like stories of disaster and corruption, motivates the correction of errors in the system and so qualifies as negative feedback. Positive feedback, on the other hand accelerates rather than inhibits action and so we need to be careful that tendencies like fascism and xenophobia are not encouraged. The current Australian government seems to be applying positive feedback to erroneous positions, where error is defined against an ideal society as heat engines are judged against the Carnot cycle.

Like water puts out fire, understanding and cooperation put out fear. Really? I live a more or les fear free life. I have a house, an income, lots of friends and no enemies. I have had no real experience , have never been a refugee, have never been in need of unobtainable medical help. My quest is to provide a new agenda for God in the community.

I spend all day networking and most of the traffic is with myself. Here lies the self energy of the electron problem. Too much narcissism can lead to veering off the prudent optimal path.

Crombie, A C, The History of Science from Augustine to Galileo, Dover Publications 1996 Amazon customer review: 'This is a very widely encompassing account of the evolution and development of science through history. The considerations of the sociopolitical and philosophical climates pertaining to the times gives the reader a basis of understanding why science progressed as it did. The account is very well organised and lucid, although it fails in some aspects to consider the contributions of the Far Eastern civilizations. It makes a very valuable contribution to help appreciate acutely the value of those who contributed to science's development.' A Customer

Kolmogorov, A N, and Nathan Morrison (Translator) (With an added bibliography by A T Bharucha-Reid), Foundations of the Theory of Probability, Chelsea 1956 Preface: 'The purpose of this monograph is to give an axiomatic foundation for the theory of probability. . . . This task would have been a rather hopeless one before the introduction of Lebesgue's theories of measure and integration. However, after Lebesgue's publication of his investigations, the analogies between measure of a set and mathematical expectation of a random variable became apparent. These analogies allowed of further extensions; thus, for example, various properties of independent random variables were seen to be in complete analogy with the corresponding properties of orthogonal functions ... Russell, Bertrand, Mortals and Others: American Essays 1931-1935 Volume 1, George Allen and Unwin 1975 Jacket: 'No one this century has written essays more trenchantly than Bertrand Russell—to instruct, to inform and to entertain. But the essays published in books during his lifetime represent a fraction if those he actually composed. . . . Mortals and Others serves as a splendid fresh introduction to the compassionate eclecticism of Bertrand Russell's mind.'

Aquinas 13, Summa: I 2 3: Whether God exists?, I answer that the existence of God can be proved in five ways. The first and more manifest way is the argument from motion. . . . The second way is from the nature of the efficient cause. . . . The third way is taken from possibility and necessity . . . The fourth way is taken from the gradation to be found in things. . . . The fifth way is taken from the governance of the world. back
Aquinas 13 (Latin), Summa: I 2 3: Whether God exists?, 'Respondeo dicendum quod Deum esse quinque viis probari potest.

Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem - Wikipedia, Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, 'The Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem, named after Harry Nyquist and Claude Shannon, is a fundamental result in the field of information theory, in particular telecommunications and signal processing. Sampling is the process of converting a signal (for example, a function of continuous time or space) into a numeric sequence (a function of discrete time or space). Shannon's version of the theorem states:

If a function x(t) contains no frequencies higher than B hertz, it is completely determined by giving its ordinates at a series of points spaced 1/(2B) seconds apart.' back

Self-energy - Wikipedia, Self-energy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, 'In most theoretical physics such as quantum field theory, a particle's self-energy \Sigma represents the contribution to the particle's energy, or effective mass, due to interactions between the particle and the system it is part of. For example, in electrostatics the self-energy of a given charge distribution is the energy required to assemble the distribution by bringing in the constituent charges from infinity, where the electric force goes to zero.' back
Syncretism - Wikipedia, Syncretism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, 'Syncretism (/ˈsɪŋkrətɪzəm/) is the combining of different, often seemingly contradictory beliefs, while melding practices of various schools of thought. Syncretism involves the merger and analogizing of several originally discrete traditions, especially in the theology and mythology of religion, thus asserting an underlying unity and allowing for an inclusive approach to other faiths. Syncretism also occurs commonly in expressions of arts and culture (known as eclecticism) as well as politics (syncretic politics).' back
Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica, Thomas Aquinas: The medieval theological classic online : 'Because the doctor of Catholic truth ought not only to teach the proficient, but also to instruct beginners (according to the Apostle: As unto little ones in Christ, I gave you milk to drink, not meat -- 1 Cor. 3:1-2), we purpose in this book to treat of whatever belongs to the Christian religion, in such a way as may tend to the instruction of beginners. We have considered that students in this doctrine have not seldom been hampered by what they have found written by other authors, partly on account of the multiplication of useless questions, articles, and arguments, partly also because those things that are needful for them to know are not taught according to the order of the subject matter, but according as the plan of the book might require, or the occasion of the argument offer, partly, too, because frequent repetition brought weariness and confusion to the minds of readers.' back
