In a body, the economic problems are normally completely solved. Every cell gets what it needs and has its wastes removed. The world organism of humans has not reached this point yet.

One must define the properties and prerequisites of a civilized planetary system.

only possible in a conscious species, and the first and most important task of science is to understand consciousness, and to this task is given the general title metaphysics subdivided into epistemology, ontology etc. Lonergan's Insight attacks this problem.
