Started writing thesis at last, partly by copying this diary.
Tooth agony. I am waiting until the dentist has time to see me. I would like to be fixed right now. The fact of the matter in that the analgesics work and if I want 100% analgesia I must take the right doses at the right times. Of course, I
[page 280]
don't, and so have periods like now of great pain which naturally drive me to think about pain and its role in life.
Why do I put up with all this pain instead of rationally getting rid of it. Experimentation; dealing with the idea that pain is good for you. The only truth is that the pain is an error signal, and once one has extracted from it the information necessary to correct the error, there is no more need for the pain.

More tooth. Daylight saving. Istanbul is now 8 hours behind us.
To prove: maximize spirituality = minimize action (environmental impact etc etc)
The clean cut: erase all unnecessary code from memory. In fact memory management is one [of] the fundamental problems, since the consumption of memory is identical to the consumption of resources: PROCESSING RESOURCES [for spirit] = CONSERVED
[page 281]
PHYSICAL VALUES
The big balancing act is between capitalization and consumption. Resources are often wasted because capital is destroyed (perhaps unnecessarily) by the consumption process so that the consumption becomes to some degree non-renewable.
RENEWABLE = infinite Q
NON ditto Q = 0
The spiritual economy
Reflections of consciousness: Jaynes (Jaynes 1990)
Intro: Evolution, history and
Consciousness and writing:Jaynes
The dominant religion in the Western world is Christianity. Christian theology was slowly refined in east and west through the work of the "Fathers of the Church" [Minge ?] (Minge 1844-87)
[page 282]
The Greek Divine Model: mythology
From drama to depersonalization. Thales etc etc to the heights of Aristotle and Plato. Then a breakup, Neoplatonism, Stoicism
Hebrew model - personality of God.
Medieval splendour -> empiricism -> industry
Noble 199?. (Noble 1999) MONASTERIES/TECHNOLOGY -> science/theology bifurcation
(Reminisce on Chinese shutdown of industry because it was incompatible with the ruling ethos).
NEWTON/GALILEO - Used mathematics as the formalism of the world, thus implementing a step in the Platonic plan.
- Also observation: ie the empirical industrial plan of the practical arts.
[page 283]
The beginning of the scientific/industrial complex drove religion away from trade into ancient ethereal bullshit. It is time for them to reunite. A reunion of Platonism and empiricism like Newton/Galileo did but now into the full complexity of religious space.

That tooth. 2.47 am and can't sleep. 11 hours till I get to the dentist's chair. I swear that henceforth (having no need of such pain) I will keep an adequate supply of analgesics in the house.
Can we prove that the proper functioning of the spiritual economy demands that half of all cashflow be directed to individuals.
measure(spirit) = integrated complexity (bottom up)

LIFE = ORDERING OF POTENTIAL ACTIONS
Spirit: pain and control. Avoid pain and pleasure will take care of itself.
natural-spirit.com serves as the hinge between natural theology and natural religion, it holds LOVE, the file on the old version of natural theology.
This site is devoted to spiritual accounting, that is how to factor in all the costs and benefits of life in order to arrive at true guidance for human activity.

Arbitrary order vs causal order.
This is how we distinguish

transfinite layers.

As long as I have got enough food and can use it effectively I can live.
FOOD = MATTER + ENERGY
SYMBOLS + PROCESSING.
We model love-cash.com against the natural world. The world we may model as noise with various defined spectra, which basically relate the frequency and sign of events.
How do we write an economic model? LOCAL to GLOBAL. What drives me? I want to be paid to do something I like doing and to be able to use that money to pay other people to do what they like doing.
DESIRE - SALESPERSONSHIP

cash-love.com RELIGION/ECONOMICS prospectus
1. Levelling as opposed to concentrating.
2. Money is fluid, so that good can be transferred at the maximum rate.
3. Non-judgemental, each according to his/her means
4. Individuals may announce their authenticated contribution. The weekly dividend will be common knowledge.
5. Manage it through a cartel of banks, whose profit depends upon the cashflow.
6. Person to person, avoiding all governments and churches and other corporations.
7. Parallel to the benefits of solar energy.
8. Will, paradoxically, increase the overall economic activity of the world. Prove this with a model:
a) normal economics is partly noise (bad for banks)
[page 287]
b) cash-love economics has clipped peaks and better for banks.
Do the model and patent it as an economic system, with open source type license.
What is an economy. A network of instances of good-good or good-cash transactions.
Services from one individual to another via some intermediary eg cans of baked beans.
Economic level playing field levels politics.
MODEL: We like to restrict our public dramas to manageable casts: every daily newspaper reports the doings of a few tens or hundreds of individuals.
Local economic theory and spacetime. No economics until space is curved,

so that some places are more valuable to some people than others, so that win-win trading becomes feasible.
