Here begins (for me) a 20 year campaign to see the end of the Pope. Something to do (and a source of income) for the rest of my life. Like plumbing, fixing leaks in the global system.

The art of computer hardware design is the physical realization of logical functions, both functions and realizations being based on the operations not and and.

The celibate churches confuse love with ownership because they have no experience of either having abrogated all responsibility for their own lives by the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.

SPACE = MEMORY

If the Universe is divine, what does that mean for my life? Now that I have faith in the proposition, is there a living to be made by promoting it? How do I get the idea into other minds?

Movement in space means erasing (annihilating) and writing (creating) new structures in memory just as a computer does.

This book has been rather neglected over the last few months while I concentrated on adivineworld.com. I am now pretty certain that the idea that the world is divine is strong and defensible. It has been a rather exciting time over the last few years working on this and now comes the task of promoting and propagating the idea which may be a rather thankless task, considering the problems: 1. a huge religious population that sees god as the mysterious other; and 2 a large population that rejects / does not care for religion and so are not interested. Nevertheless it is an idea worth working for and I will work to propagate it through journalism [and all other means that are available to me].

It is faith that moves people, which is why people who want to move others try to intill some faith in them. Natural religion wishes to propagate faith in due process, where due process means what most people think is the right way to do things. The problem is the manipulation of human faith, With the advent of psychology, the advertising industry found the weak spots of the human soul, so to speak, and learnt to exploit them to move its product.

For the human network to be secure it must be immunized against advertising in the same way as it is immunized against spam and other unwanted and malicious traffic. The internet is a microcosm of the people who use the net. Their history of interaction.

The symmetry of our human state is broken by religious / political loyalties which are based on an out of date paradigm, the armed castle or city state as the

centre of power. Instead we must learn to realize that we are all one people under one god, and must cooperate if we are to have good lives. If we do not cooperate to the extent of going to war with one another we can expect a lof of pain.

The transfinite network is a mathematical statement of the liberal position that the society can always grow to encompass more diversity, but a way has to be found to introduce diversity without violence by education. We have to avoid the use of torture to induce belief. Instead we need to preach the heaven which is obtainable if we manage the world with the theories of computation , communication and cybernetics in mind. All things are permissible except those that damage the network.

I learnt history as a series of kings, Queens and wars, mostly of the all conquering British Empire of which I am (de facto) a citizen. What we did not hear very much about was of liberation. Australia has never been liberated. We started as a prison camp but enlightened public servants eventually managed to give birth to Australia as an independent democracy, although still part of a fading Empire, renamed Commonwealth.

The Roman Catholic Church, like the Communist Party of China and so many others wants mind control, it wants to be able to dictate what people think by picking off the outliers.

Government creates the space for human life. Space is not specifically a void, it is simply a container for as yet unspecified structure.

A theory is a still point in a dynamic action, So the wave equation holds for all real frequencies The theory has the role of a metric invariant.

We fight institutions, not people, except perhaps where people are so deeply identified with the institution that they cannot see beyond it and see an attack on their institution as an attack on themselves.

From the point of view of a committed believer, the Catholic Church is God. This is certainly what the Church would like. There is a thin line between I speak for God and I am God, a line crossed by the Catholic portrayal of the Founder as God the second person of the Trinity.

One can only analyze the Catholic Church when one has a view of the larger universal structure of which it is a part : political theology (political economy political science - science of politics, or politics of science? Both! Duality).

Waugh Brideshead Revisited Penguin page 215: ' "Darling, the whole thing is impossible. I can't see how you can have been so foolish." ' Waugh

Beyond Atheism. Theism, atheism, theism . . .

[page 146]

Waugh page 259: 'These memories, which are my life -- for we possess nothing certainly except the past -- were always with me.'

The good news at the heart of natural theology and natural religion is the unlimited power of coding to correct errors.

le Carre, John, The Secret Pilgrim, Random House Value Publishing 1992 Amazon customer review: 'Mr John LeCarré, with Len Deighton, is tops at writing about espionage and he deserves mention in the history of English literature of this century. I have all his books in my personal library. They all denote an insider's knowledge of the espionage world, the right dose of skepticism about human nature, tongue-in-cheek, sense of the plot, mastery of the language, eclecticism. The only flaw may be found in a pervasive melancholy and pessimism: there is never sun in these books, only a uniform and pervasive grayness - but I guess the world he describes is of that colour. However, he is one of the most entertaining writers I ever found and I always look for new production of his whenever I enter a bookstore.' A reader

Taylor "GFT" "Like most great novels, BRIDESHEAD REVISITED is about a great many things--not the least of which is the decline of English aristocracy. But at center, Evelyn Waugh's greatest novel (and one of his few non-satirical works) is about religious faith, and how that faith continues to operate in the lives of even those who seem to reject it, and how that faith supports even those who falter badly in it. . . .
