Peter R Holland The Quantum Theory of Motion. Holland.

'The challenge is to develop a theory of individual material systems, each obeying its own law of motion, whose mean behaviour over an ensemble reproduces the statistical predictions of quantum mechanics. The empirical record would then be explained as the outcome of a sequence of well defined processes undergone by systems possessing properties that exist independently of acts of observation.' page 2.

POWER is a matter of QUALITY and PROMOTION. The urge to promote is rooted in a) the genuine quality of the product and b) the need for

[page 37]

income. As a pioneer one has to be rough and ready in all ways, depending more on determination to succeed than on sweet technology. So with the first into the air and into space, and now into heaven on earth.

ALGEBRAIC = UNLIMITED PRECISION = LOGICAL

TRANSFINITE/ANTI-TRANSFINITE calculated in transfinite arithmetic via log and factorial.

I've worked it out. Have any of my plans ever failed?

Algebra: every number stands for a set of numbers, ie a variable.

RELIGION: The basic stock in trade of religion is GOOD NEWS. The promoter of a religion hopes to survive and grow on the income yielded by grateful followers.

[page 38]

Religion is a product and one must go in to bat for it.

The root of the good news is the vast information processing capacity of reality.

The processes of life are determinism grounded in randomness. A LIFE = {action}

Individual wealth depends upon the niche each of us occupies in the vast corporate machine that sustains us. Rich & Poor.

LEVELLING = MAX ENTROPY

What is the dual of HEAT DEATH?

Control comes from the duality that minimizes action.

On the shape of cyberspace. The

structure of the noosphere. What is the power - communication = discovering the high probability set and living off it with insurance against the low probability.

THE Universe IS A CHANNEL

As a line is in a plane, so every level of complexity is a channel in the level above it.

Where does all this go: the Lagrangian of love.

PHYSICS AND THEOLOGY or THE LAGRANGIAN OF LOVE

FUNCTION -> FUNCTIONAL
CLASSICAL -> QUANTUM
aleph(n) -> aleph(n+1)

NONLOCALITY = MEMORY (present at many points in spacetime)

[page 40]

Specific heat and hidden degrees of freedom, this is abstract knowledge, ignoring the hidden structure.

Depression: anger turned inward/action avoided.

Depression is the negative 'force' ie ERROR that encourages us to communicate our needs to the world. Ask and you shall succeed. DISSIPATIVE STRUCTURE

Energy and action. The whole of QM is about finding f(action) = energy.

DISSIPATION <-> CREATION

CARNOT ENGINE removes redundancy by extracting energy with zero structure [entropy] (eg large scale mechanical.)

[page 41]

The whole story is local. We study the space surrounding ℵ0 <-> ℵ1 and then assume that the same but different goes on in every aleph(n) <-> aleph(n+1)

So we transplant the whole of analysis to an infinity of levels, as Hilbert did.

FUNCTIONAL = F(FUNCTION)

a) impose basic overall growth
impose random fluctuations on each individual

Planning the redirection of the [Roman Catholic Church] Stakeholder revolt?

What is revolution:

Physics Theology: q: Is the wave function of the Universe a description of divinity?

To do this we make a mathematical and physical model of Lonergan insight in terms of communication theory. (Lonergan 1992)

An artist is anyone who does something and from the point of view of the individual the effect of other individual's actions on the system is beyond comprehension.

Aristotle, and (translated by P H Wickstead and F M Cornford), Physics books I-IV, Harvard University Press, William Heinemann 1980 Introduction: 'The title "Physics" is misleading. .. "Lectures on Nature" the alternative title found in editions of the Greek text, is more enlightening. . . . The realm of Nature, for Aristotle, includes all things that move and change . . . . Thus the ultimate "matter" which, according to Aristotle, underlies all the elementary substances must be studied, in its changes at least, by the Natural Philosopher. And so must the eternal heavenly spheres of the Aristotelean philosophy, insofar as they themselves move of are the cause of motion in the sublunary world.'

Einstein, Albert, and Robert W Lawson (translator) Roger Penrose (Introduction), Robert Geroch (Commentary), David C Cassidy (Historical Essay) , Relativity: The Special and General Theory, Pi Press 2005 Preface: 'The present book is intended, as far as possible, to give an exact insight into the theory of relativity to those readers who, from a general scientific and philosophical point of view, are interested in the theory, but who are not conversant with the mathematical apparatus of theoretical physics. . . . The author has spared himself no pains in his endeavour to present the main ideas in the simplext and most intelligible form, and on the whole, in the sequence and connectionin which they actually originated.' page 3

Holland, Peter R, The Quantum Theory of Motion: An Account of the de Broglie-Bohm Causal Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics, Cambridge University Press 1993 Jacket: 'This book presents the first comprehensive exposition of the interpretation of quantum mechancs pioneered by Louis de Broglie and David Bohm. . . . Developing the theme that a material system such as an electron is guided by a surrounding quantum wave, a detailed examination of the classic phenomena of quantum theory is presented . . . . . . . The theory provides a novel and satisfactory framework for analysing the classical limit of quantum mechanics and Heisenberg's relations, and implies a theory of measurement without wavefunction collapse. It also suggests a strikingly novel view of relativistic quantum theory, including the Dirac equation, quantum field theory and the wavefunction of the Universe.'

The Fatal Shore is the prize-winning, scholarly, brilliantly entertaining narrative that has given its true history to Australia.'

Aquinas 14 Summa: I 3 1: Is God a body? 'I answer that, It is absolutely true that God is not a body; and this can be shown in three ways. First, because no body is in motion unless it be put in motion, as is evident from induction. Now it has been already proved (2, 3), that God is the First Mover, and is Himself unmoved. Therefore it is clear that God is not a body. . . . ' back
