Ideas hang around vaguely and then become clear. This whole effort (toward natural religion project) has been an effort to reduce tension in myself. This tension (potential) is the driving force for the motion that reduces the tension. So potential is the source of motion, but motion is also the source of potential insofar as moving things creates the inconsistencies that constitute potential. So our images are the wheel (fixed point) and the pendulum (harmonic oscillator, interplay of the potential / actual dynamic).

Property is theft. The colonial era saw the clash of two concepts of property, and the total eclipse of the dynamic concept of property with the static concept of property (whatever that means), The question is who owns the earth and the answer must be the Earth. Now we think we are superior to the Earth, and have invoked all sorts of bogus Gods to prove it, but the reality is that the Earth made us and sets the boundary conditions on our lives.

The Roman Catholic Church has bandwidth zero, since it is eternal and infallible, fully, invariantly formal.

How can you own it? What can you control? Can you control what is?

On the whole the function of leaks is to expose the clay feet and evil minds of those who demand our allegiance and loyalty. Wikileaks.org

Our lives are channelled by fear of pain and hope of pleasure.

All the Gods that human priesthoods have invented are as nothing compared to the real God, the whole Universe of human experience.

Maybe music is the least constrained of the arts because it has available to it the full spectrum of frequencies from 1 to (local) ℵ0. (ie the container of all the available numbers)

The wheel.

Laws come from the dynamics and vice versa (the relationship of potential and kinetic, formal and dynamic).

Wikipedia: "Hegel's remarks on the French Revolution led German poet Heinrich Heine to label him 'the Orléans of German Philosophy' " Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel - Wikipedia

Wiki: According to Hegel the origin of philosophy is to be dated from Heraclitus.

The only new heaven we have to offer is the vision of God whose most broadband channel is love.

The world is distorted by repression.

One thing most religions would agree upon: sex is extremal, either heavenly or hellish.

Monarchy is possible when all process is reduced to writing emanating from a consistent source. The law is built on cases, guided by statute and tradition.

We cannot laugh at the law, and on the other hand we can.

The ideal law codifies the invariant points in the space of human interaction.

Minimizing the cost and maximizing the benefit of participation.

'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.' Mark 12:10

Making curvaceous chimneys out of square bricks: the pixellation problem. Finding the ideal pixel to maximize communication.

How much data is in a pixel (packet)? It depends upon the resolution of the pixel (message) space measured in word length or entropy.

God is what is and if we want to know God we need to know what is, and an agreed standard for determining what is is the scientific method. Our technology, how we manipulate what is is built on scientific knowledge, that is knowledge that can be checked against experience.

le Carre, John, A Small Town in Germany, Putnam 1968 Editorial review: 'A man is missing. Harting, refugee background, a Junior Something in the British Embassy in Bonn. Gone with him are forty-three files, all of them Confidential or above. It is vital that the Germans do not learn that Harting is missing, nor that there's been a leak. With radical students and neo-Nazis rioting and critical negotiations under way in Brussels, the timing could not be worse -- and that's probably not an accident. Alan Turner, London's security officer, is sent to Bonn to find the missing man and files as Germany's past, present, and future threaten to collide in a nightmare of violence.'

Walther, Philip, et al, "Experimental one-way quantum computing", Nature, 434, 7030, 10 March 2005, page 169-176. 'Standard quantum computing is based on sequences of unitary quantum logic gates that process qubits. The one-way quantum computer proposed by Raussendorf and Briegel is entirely different. It has changed our understanding of the requirements for quantum computation and more generally how we think about quantum physics. This new model requires qubits to be initialised in a highly entangled cluster states. From this point on the computation proceeds by a sequence of single-qubit measurements with classical feedforward of their outcomes. Because of the essential role of measurement, a one-way computer is irreversible. In the one-way quantum computer, the order and choices of measurements determine the algorithm computed. We have experimentally realised four-qubit cluster states encoded into the polarisation state of four photons. We characterise the quantum state by implementing experimental four-qubit quantum state tomography. Using this cluster state, we demonstrate the feasibility of one-way quantum computing through a univeral set of one- and two-qubit operations. Finally, our implementation of Grover's search algorithm demonstrates that one-way computation is ideally suited for such tasks. '. back
