Such a loverly idea, but is it true? We have to go through it again in detail to see if it is watertight. The data for the whole project is the process of developing the process, that is the process of creation seen as data for understanding the process of creation. This was Lonergan's program, which I absorbed but baulked at the conclusion that God is other than the world.

NEWTONIAN PHYSICS IS UNARY : all counting is the cardinal of a set of particles or molecules. Yet when we come to Boltzmann, the number of complexions is the number of orderings (permutations) of the

mass of particles rather than simply a count, as when we say that x has mass y. Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics - Wikipedia

The big religious question is what should we do? To give a reasonable answer we must be able to model the consequences of our actions so that we can choose those courses of action that appear to have the best return for the resources committed. Politicians tend to concentrate on promising outcomes, leaving it to the army, secret services, public service and other arms of government to come up with the process necessary to achieve the politically promised results.

For every reality is a game which is isomorphic to the reality but does not involve the same costa and benefits, eg war games, mating games. Game - Wikipedia

What is is like to be part of the Universe a divine (sub) process? Is it beatitude, as imagined by Aquinas, the vision of God face to face first experienced (in our literary history) by the authors who are called Moses. Moses did a great thing (by contemporary standards) because he has a confident feeling he was doing God's will and had God on his side, even though the people he was leading were often reluctant followers. Aquinas 608

For more than forty years the divine Universe question has been predominantly a technical question to be treated hypothetically on a what if? basis. But now (perhaps because time is running short) I am beginning to develop faith in my position, ie I have been an intellectus quaerens

[page 58]

fidem, and having got the faith, I am beginning to take myself seriously enough to preach it. Up till now I have been rather reticent about my researches communicating only with these notes and an occasional attempt at publication. Now in the words of [ex Australian PM Paul] Keating, the time has cine to turn to vaudeville. Nothing convinces like the appearance of conviction.

Aquinas 608 Summa II I q3 a 8: Whether man's happiness consists in the vision of the divine essence 'I answer that, Final and perfect happiness can consist in nothing else than the vision of the Divine Essence. To make this clear, two points must be observed. First, that man is not perfectly happy, so long as something remains for him to desire and seek: ... If therefore the human intellect, knowing the essence of some created effect, knows no more of God than "that He is"; the perfection of that intellect does not yet reach simply the First Cause, but there remains in it the natural desire to seek the cause. Wherefore it is not yet perfectly happy. Consequently, for perfect happiness the intellect needs to reach the very Essence of the First Cause. And thus it will have its perfection through union with God as with that object, in which alone man's happiness consists, as stated above (this question articles 1, 7; q 2, a 8). back
Game - Wikipedia Game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 'A game is structured playing, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool. Games are distinct from work, which is usually carried out for remuneration, and from art, which is more often an expression of aesthetic or ideological elements. . . . Key components of games are goals, rules, challenge, and interaction. Games generally involve mental or physical stimulation, and often both. Many games help develop practical skills, serve as a form of exercise, or otherwise perform an educational, simulational, or psychological role.' back
