Why am I so hooked on digitization? Because it gives us many more degrees of freedom as Cantor showed when he used set theory to digitize the continuum [and came up with transfinite numbers]. The progress of mathematics is by digitization, that is finding algorithms or proofs that couple two propositions. One of the most interesting formalisms in physics is the Dirac equation and its mathematical context. The equation is a representation of an algorithm that relates the variables space, time, energy, momentum and wave function, We have conceived this equation as defining a particle, the diron, which serves as the unit of space, in some way embodying an inertial frame. We might then see a coupling between quantum mechanics and gravitation by studying the fundamental interaction if dirons (through their component paulions?) Here the 'charge' is not electric, but simply that sharing of energy/action. The coupling constant for this sharing is the gravitational constant. It seems natural to think that there is a close link between the structure of space and the exclusion principle.

Let us assume that the Universe can express itself as succinctly as we do. So we write the Dirac equation (iℏ γμμ - mc)ψ = 0.

What do we expect to see if this equation is embodied physically? Maybe just what we do see.

Gravitation describes the structure of meaningless action, that is pure action unconstrained by fixed points.

We're in a case of fides quaerens intellectum here. The faith is that we can safely change the old faith in the invisible mysterious yet sometimes benevolent God into faith in the observed Universe. Gravitation describes the unobserved Universe, the featureless continuum that some may use to visualize an omnino simplex God.

Because the only property constraining God is consistency, and this same constraint is all that operates in mathematics, we guess that there must be some sort of isomorphism between God and mathematics. We bring this into focus by applying fixed point theory to God and guessing that the consistent set of fixed points in the divine dynamics can be mapped onto mathematics, ie an ismorphism, hence Wigner's observation. We go through the simplicity question article by article, working in the light of fixed point theory. The proof and application of these theorems is couched as examples of logical continuity.

We can only influence things within our action cone. In much of physics this is the light cone, but in other circumstances the cone depends on the velocity of our influence, ie (in soccer) whether we can get to the attacking ball in time to stop it.

We come to the question of promotion vs development, and try to keep sticking to the notion that promotion will be low key until the idea gets a peer reviewed publication, a basic standard to work toward for propaganda, but for opinion one is entitled to express ones opinion as long as it is not judged to be an incitement to violence. So I can push politically to obtain funding to study the matter scientifically in properly equipped

institutions.

I am reliving some of my history in transcribing notes from 1999. At that point fixed point theory had not entered the mix, and I still believed that a real continuum could carry an infinite amount of information, a child of the theological idea that an completely simple God could know everything, past, present andfuture tota simul [all at once].

Conversion ; my 'intellectual' history, like the website a log of a journey from Roman Catholic to catholic, that is universal. Marks of the Church: One, Holy, Catholic and apostolic. We can go with the one and holy. We want to replace Catholic and apostolic with grounded in history, from the big bang on.

The world has created itself from hydrogen atoms and more fundamental particles than this. Continuous vs discrete, dynamic vs formal.

Critchley, Simon, The Book of Dead Philosophers, Granta 2008 Amazon customer review: 'A wonderful concept for a book. It spends a page and half or so on the deaths of 170 different philosophers. For some, it nicely juxtaposes their beliefs with their practical applications. For others, it illustrates a hypocrisy.
