We may imagine that the bandwidth of an electron (or any other massive particle) is sufficient to represent a Turing machine, that is a function sufficiently complex to represent the properties of the electron and this machine does not halt but repeats itself, using up any spare bandwidth. If it does halt, we might expect the particle to disintegrate. This function may represent the group that explains the orbit of the energy within so that it also explains why the particle has the mass that we measure. This represents the spin of the electron and also its magnetic moment.

This ideas also takes care of gluons and quarks. Gluons and quarks, like photons and electrons depend on the creation and annihilation of mass accompanied by the creation of massive and massless particles inside the proton where energy is both constrained and transformed in a closed system whose binding energy is so strong that any attempt to pull them apart requires so much energy that new hadrons are created. We try to link this to gravitation going through the creation of kinetic and potential energy. What would be nice is for the creation of Minkowski space and transfinite numbers of states is accompanied by the creation or mass (potential energy) and kinetic energy by an instance of zero energy bifurcation which increases the number of quantum states transfinitely while maintaining the zero energy universe represented by the first instance of the quantum initial singularity.

What I am hoping to be able to claim is that the emergence of the cognitive cosmos from the initial singularity solves all the problems of gravitation, electrodynamics, and chromodynamics while making physics perfectly consistent with theology. I would like someone to critically assess this website and see if the ideas here have the potential to do this. This is my anti-catholic nuclear weapon of which I have been dreaming since about 1964 (Nicholls 1967).

Random imagination is the source of all science and culture, the footprint of god, imprinted on the cosmic background radiation vestigium dei, gravitation, the image of god, love, the root of music, the initial singularity, prior to the vestigium trinitatis. We are replacing the omnipotent omniscient creator with the omnipotent unbounded creator. Aquinas, Summa I, 45, 7: Is any trace of the Trinity [vestigium aliquod Trinitatis] to be found in created things?

[page 83]

Do I believe any of this? Perhaps the only claim that I can make is that it is more credible than the current alternatives.

Gravitation is god and the initial singularity, outside quantum mechanics, the tacit knowledge of the universe, love. We approach this conclusion through inertial motion, the velocity of light, the special theory, the general theory, inertial motion and the consistent collapse of the general theory to the initial singularity, we identify gravitation with the traditional Thomistic god. In an empty universe G = 0, in a matter filled universe, G = T. Michael Polanyi (1966, 2009): The Tacit Dimension, John Baez & Emory Bunn (2006): The Meaning of Einstein's Equation

We are interpreting gravitation as the boundary of the universe, the border between consistency and inconsistency [and therefore something with just one state, entropy 0?]. Gravitation is this boundary and as Einstein says it is the only self-consistent four dimensional picture of a closed spacetime [it reaches to the edges of consistency]. We will take this further in cc21 and cc22 fixed points as we consider the universe becoming more complex and so adding complexity to its boundary. So first we describe gravitation as it exists in the current universe and cut it back to its primordial form on page 20. I have dug myself into a mystery here. On this site I am uniting physics and theology on the understanding that all science is part of theology. I am a bit vague about where to go next. Most go back to 19 zero energy and use that to generate fermions and bosons and 4D spacetime.

Boundary of a boundary is zero. We might understand gravitation via entanglement, to guarantee the overall consistency of the universe thus acting as a global boundary on possibility. Einstein gravitation is a mathematically consistent constraint on [energy] what? Misner, Thorne & Wheeler (1973); Gravitation §III, 15, 2

Continuous mathematics is logically consistent, but its premisses are wrong [or circular, since the epsilon delta argument depends on the fact that epsilon and delta are continuous]. (ε, δ)-definition of limit - Wikipedia

The notion of cresting continuity by point set theory is doomed to failure since one cannot creste a continuum out of discrete points The only possibility is digital logical continuity deoending on shared memory a la Aristotle. In the modern fiction the shortest time interval is the Planck time, 5 ×10-44 seconds, corresponding to a frequency 1/(5 × 10-44), ie 0.2 × 1044 corresponding to energy h / tp, ie

[page 84]

6 × 10-33/ 0.2 × 1044 = 30 × 1011 Joule. Any period longer than 10-44 seconds corresponds to memory. Some genes dating from the origin lof life 13× 109 years ago have lasted for 3 × 109 × 3 × 107 = 1017 seconds, a period corresponding to 1017 / 0.2 × 10-44 = 15 × 1061 1 second generations.

Stuck on Dirac and then half a cigarette and I have got an answer. A miracle of nicotine or just luck? To test my luck I did a RAT test. Negative. Maybe what Dirac has done, in terms of my picture of the relationship between Hilbert and Minkowski space is, in cybernetic terms, to set up a feedback loop between the two spaces (as I have been trying to describe their relationship on the page on measuerment elsewhere) so in effect coupling Minkowski space to Hilbert space and coming up with 4D spinors. Now I have a starting point maybe I can write cc23_quantum_field. Test still negative. Put it away and look tomorrow morning before I go to the election.

Reminds me of the diron.

Diron notes 10 November 2013:

Could the idea of the diron as the relativistic lego block of spacetime really represent reality or have I finally strayed so far from the way of truth that there is no hope for me? Only time will tell. Another night of smoke and fire mellowed before dawn by longed for rain. Notes, Sunday 10 November 2013

Is this how it works? The Schrödinger equation represents the linear evolution of a single quantized vector which is a superposition of a large number of basis vectors. The linearity of the equation, established by a unitary operator, is maintained by the conservation of energy represented by the superposition even though the energies represented by each basis may change as the superposition changes. We may say that the loudness of the signal remains constant while the contribution of each frequency changes [and is revealed at the moment of observation by the amplitude computed by the Born Rule]. This is worked out in practice by the probability of occurrence of each basis vector in the superposition rather like an orchestra maintaining constant volume as the contribution of each instrument (all of which operate for varying periods of time) rises and falls. Schrödinger equation - Wikipedia, Born rule - Wikipedia

The Dirac equation, on the other hand, due to the action of the gamma matrices eliminating crosstalk between them, acts as four separate channels, ie four separate Schrödinger equations, the energy fluctuating between the four different particles represented by the equation, electron and positron, spin up and spin down. This is a first attempt to describe what is going on described in the Friday entry above. Energy

[page 85]

is still conserved but it is conserved as the sum of potential (ie massive particles) and kinetic (spin flips [mediated by photons]).

My task in cognitive cosmology is to give a qualitative description of the divine universe without quantifying actual events, that is without giving the relative rates of different events [which are calculated from certain initial conditions by the algorithms of quantum theory].

The Minkowski space inputs degrees of freedom into the Hilbert space - one Schrödinger equation adjusted for relativity generates two particles each with two states [in the 4D relativistic world of Minkowski space, each represented by a spinor in Hilbert space ].

I hope my story will turn out to be true and will take an enormous psychological load off the collective human psyche and bring us back to the Blackfella view of the world that represents paradise as it existed in the world before the ruling class characterized us all as sinners in order to gain control over us in order to maintain their hegemony . . . which lies at the foundation of their rich and privileged life. I am reminded of Aristotle's words talking about his unmoved mover, a God:

On such a principle, then, depend the heavens and the world of nature. And it is a life such as the best which we enjoy, and enjoy for but a short time (for it is ever in this state, which we cannot be), since its actuality is also pleasure. . . . Therefore the possession rather than the receptivity is the divine element which thought seems to contain, and the act of contemplation is what is most pleasant and best. If, then, God is always in that good state in which we sometimes are, this compels our wonder; and if in a better this compels it yet more. And God is in a better state. And life also belongs to God; for the actuality of thought is life, and God is that actuality; and God's self-dependent actuality is life most good and eternal. We say therefore that God is a living being, eternal, most good, so that life and duration continuous and eternal belong to God; for this is God. Aristotle, Metaphysics XII: vii: The divine life of the prime mover

Aristotle'a prime mover is identical to the universe as I conceive it since in modern physics potential is an identical form of energy and so Aristotle's argument for the necessity of the prime mover based on the passivity of potential fails. As the pendulum demonstrates, potential energy can become actual and vice versa. In quantum field theory potential is carried by massive fermions and actual by massless bosons and we have the hybrid vector bosons, W and Z± which sit astride the distinction and somehow contribute to parity breaking and the significant absence of antiparticles.

Born rule - Wikipedia, Born rule - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, ' The Born rule (also called the Born law, Born's rule, or Born's law) is a law of quantum mechanics which gives the probability that a measurement on a quantum system will yield a given result. It is named after its originator, the physicist Max Born. The Born rule is one of the key principles of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. There have been many attempts to derive the Born rule from the other assumptions of quantum mechanics, with inconclusive results. . . . The Born rule states that if an observable corresponding to a Hermitian operator A with discrete spectrum is measured in a system with normalized wave function (see bra-ket notation), then the measured result will be one of the eigenvalues λ of A, and the probability of measuring a given eigenvalue λi will equal <ψ|Pi|ψ> where Pi is the projection onto the eigenspace of A corresponding to λi'.' back

We also project that, because of this trend, the world is unlikely to achieve a top sustainable development goal: ending hunger by 2030. Another 16% of harvests of these crops in 2030 will be used as feed for livestock, along with significant portions of the crops that go to processing. For the large majority of Australians in urban settings, it is a brilliant system – providing subsidised access to care. But subsidised access is only useful for those who have access. If there is no doctor nearby, there is nothing to subsidise. And what’s worse, there is no effective policy to redress the inequity that payments flow to areas where there are doctors. In our recently published paper, we found NT residents receive roughly 30% less Medicare funding per capita than the national average (A$648 compared with A$969).
