cc25_conclusion: Page 25: Conclusion—political constitution built on human symmetry. This is a very personal site which I have written to produce an Ansatz into the notion that if the universe is to be considered divine I have to produce a comfortable synthesis of fundamental physics and theology [in order to obtain peace from the cognitive dissonance that has affected me every since I was educated in the Catholic school system]. The principal difficulty I find in current physics is the cosmic constant problem which is approximately 10^100 times out of kilter with the observed value of the cosmic constant. The root of the problem, it seems to me, is the zero point energy of the harmonic oscillator which drives the creation and annihilation of elementary particles which are too simple to change and so must be annihilated and created to enable a reasonable understanding of the dynamics of the universe. My solution takes the form of the Turing vacuum which is understood to be a kinematic (immaterial or purely abstract) foundation of the primordial Hilbert space of the universe. Energy becomes real only as a consequence of the bifurcation of potential and kinetic which in a zero energy universe must be 0. The fundamental reservoir of negative potential is

[page 152]

gravitation, which is not quantized but the fundamental driving force [potential] of creation [identical to the classical divinity].

cc21_zero-energy: page 21: Potential + kinetic = zero energy universe. The idea becoming clear here is that spacetime and energy are created simultaneously through the Minkowski mechanism. The potential is gravitation and the kinetic is particles first of all photons and gluons and then fermions. This all has to happen at once because it is hard to see it happening in stages. Perhaps we start with 2D Minkowski space and then the creation of fermions forces spatial extension and 4D. Speculate wildly and put it to bed by midnight to be continued on cc22_gravitation, the potential of God or something like that. As I go I get deper into the woods or further out on my branch following my nose through thick and thin. Creative madness, or perhaps unconstrained lunacy.

Things are beginning to make sense as we identify the initial singularity as unconstrained actus purus with gravitation and see gravitation as the potential which serves as the source of quantum mechanics, ie gravitation is identical to the classical god, creator of the quantum world, prior to the development of quantization and absolutely simple as shown by the continuity of the differentiable manifold. This I feel is the deepest insight so far in this project and gives me hope of success. An interesting sidelight is the role of continuous non-abelian groups in particle physics and a hope that I can provide a clear understadsing of asymptotic freedom in the form of inertial motion in the universe. Symmetry with respect to complexity then takes us all the way from the proton to the universe

These insights reduce the pain of being ostracized by my family at my daughter's wedding, excluded and treated as a criminal.

Pain may be the source of creativity and I have received much pain from my family first from my mother's Catholicism that led me to be momentarily sacrificed to the Church and now to my partners and children who have all decided (quite falsely) that I am a pedophile. The last four years, however, have brought me to the tipping point with the creation of cognitive cosmology which however ramshackle is carrying me over from hell to heaven and enlightening my old age with the fruits of my youthful (under 70 yo) struggles.

David Bowie - Wikipedia, Moonage Daydream (film) - Wikipedia, David Bowie: Moonage Daydream (live London 2002)

My mother remained a very staunch Roman Catholic until her death. She had a strong incentive. Two of her eleven children died in middle age and she looked forward to being united with them in the afterlife. She was quite bitter with the Dominican Order for expelling me as a bisexual heretic, even though by their standards they were right in their action. I was a bit of a wreck when I left but by the time I was in my 40s I was back on more or less an even keel and I came out as an unbeliever in 1987. In recent times I have gained what I know to be a totally undeserved reputation as a pedophile, which has created a bit of a division in my family. For a while I was seen as a latter day Cardinal Pell in my village but I have not really wasted my time in trying to fight this belief. I feel that family ties are stronger than misunderstanding based on gossip. This misfortune has added to my desire to discredit the Church and my latest efforts reflected in cognitive cosmology have absorbed all my energy and pain and have, at least from my point of view, made excellent progress. Humanity is stretched between physics and theology. Physics produced us. We produced theology. Both disciplines arise from imagination: the divine imagination of the universe. Our human participation in the imagination of the universe. In both cases the source of the imagination is the same, it is what I have tried to explain on this website [the fact that the past does not have sufficient entropy to control the future]. From our point of view the physical imagination is unconscious, proceeding by [evolution]. We endow ourselves with consciousness and place the epitome of consciousness in the invisible omnipotent omniscient beings which are the subject of theology. We imagine them on the whole as loving parents which will look after us whatever we do. We also imagine them as violent parents who will punish us with death in one form or another if we disobey them.

Now we have come to a crunch. We have learnt that the real divine personality is determined by physics, but if we don't respect the physics we are bound to suffer by destroying the habitat that has made our lives possible.

This is the weekend I have to wrap up cc24_chromodynamics [page 24: Quantum chromodynamics: QCD] and cc25_conclusion, uniting physics and theology with the principle of symmetry with repect to complexity.

The key to asymptotic freedom is the non-linearity of gravitation which nevertheless allows null geodesics which follow a path of Minkowski spaces through the universe, ie orbits.

As I write a cigarette seems to unlock forgotten ideas which are relevant to what I am doing, this time an old algorithmic explanation for three generations of fermions. page 24: Quantum chromodynamics: QCD, 24.9

Andrea Wulf, What a Young Philosopher Discovered More Than 200 Years Ago About Nature, ' There is a “secret bond connecting our mind with nature,” the professor, Friedrich Schelling, told the students. His idea, that the self and nature are in fact identical, was as simple as it was radical. He explained this by pointing to the moment when the self becomes aware of the world around it. “At the first moment, when I am conscious of the external world, the consciousness of my self is there as well,” he said, “and vice versa — at my first moment of self-awareness, the real world rises up before me".' back

Bloomberg News, Russia Confirms Flight of Troops From Ukraine’s Kharkiv Area, ' Thousands of Russian troops retreated in the face of a lightning Ukrainian offensive in the Kharkiv region that threatens to derail the Kremlin’s bid to cement control of Ukraine’s east. A local Moscow-backed official and pro-Russian military bloggers said Saturday that Kremlin forces had pulled out of Izyum, a staging post for the campaign in Donbas, to avoid being encircled. Russia’s defense ministry confirmed the pullout from Izyum and other areas in a statement from Moscow, describing the move as necessary to bolster forces in the eastern Donetsk region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the Russian forces were making “a good decision” to leave the area, according to a video released by his office Saturday. back

Christopher Morris, Ukraine war: Russia’s problems on the battlefield stem from failures at the top, ' For authoritarians like the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, the military can serve a number of functions. Not only is it a key aspect of maintaining control and projecting power, but in Putin’s case it has served as a key national resource to plunder for personal wealth and to enrich key allies. Yet while the military is a key pillar that keeps his regime in power, Putin is also conscious of the threat it could pose to his role. back

Jeffrey Nicholls (1987), A theory of Peace, ' The argument: I began to think about peace in a very practical way during the Viet Nam war. I was the right age to be called up. I was exempted because I was a clergyman, but despite the terrors that war held for me, I think I might have gone. It was my first whiff of the force of patriotism. To my amazement, it was strong enough to make even me face death.
In the Church, I became embroiled in a deeper war. Not a war between goodies and baddies, but the war between good and evil that lies at the heart of all human consciousness. Existence is a struggle. We need all the help we can get. Religion is part of that help and theology is the scientific foundation of religion.' back

Projective Hilbert space - Wikipedia, Projective Hilbert space - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, ' The physical significance of the projective Hilbert space is that in quantum theory, the wave functions ψ and λψ represent the same physical state, for any λ ≠ 0. It is conventional to choose a ψ from the ray so that it has unit norm, ⟨ ψ | ψ ⟩ = 1. The unit norm constraint does not completely determine ψ within the ray, since ψ could be multiplied by any λ with absolute value 1, ie λ = e. ϕ is called the global phase. The phase of a ray is not observable.' back

Salina Li, Hong Kong suicide rate for children under 15 hit historical high last year with 11 victims , ' The suicide rate of children under the age of 15 hit a historical high in Hong Kong last year with 11 young people taking their lives, an increase that experts partially attributed to learning disruptions caused by class suspensions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on data from the Coroner’s Court, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention found the rate of residents under 15 who had taken their own lives in 2021 rose to 1.7 deaths per every 100,000 people, compared with 1.2 deaths in 2020 and 0.9 in 2019. The suicide rate for residents in the 15 to 24 age bracket also rose from 8.6 in 2020 to 9.3 last year, with cases involving women in this demographic up from 4.4 in 2019 to 6.5 last year. back

Self-adjoint operator - Wikipedia, Self-adjoint operator - Wikipedia, the free enecylopedia, ' In mathematics, a self-adjoint operator on a complex vector space V with inner product ⟨ ⋅ , ⋅ ⟩ . . . is a linear map A (from V to itself) that is its own adjoint: ⟨ A v , w ⟩ = ⟨ v , A w ⟩ . . . If V is finite-dimensional with a given orthonormal basis, this is equivalent to the condition that the matrix of A is Hermitian, i.e., equal to its conjugate transpose A*. By the finite-dimensional spectral theorem, V has an orthonormal basis such that the matrix of A relative to this basis is a diagonal matrix with entries in the real numbers. In this article, we consider generalizations of this concept to operators on Hilbert spaces of arbitrary dimension.' back
