What I am trying to get at is the picture of the world from the point of view of Hilbert space rather than from the point of view of Minkowski space, and having done that unite them as imagination and action in my own life extended to imagination and action in the Universe, cognitive cosmogenesis. write this out easily enough but I am finding it very hard to get a clean grip on the idea. It belongs to the section on kinematics and dynamics which comes after Minkowski space is built on Hilbert space and the solution to the relativity problem, and links to the idea that neural intelligence is connected to distributed and non-linear superposition in the brain. But somewhere in this is a "writer's block", which in quantum mechanical terms must mean an inability to solve the eigenvalue problem which is central to this whole story. The spectrum of solutions to the eigenvalue problem is a some way connected to the spectrum of links in Feynman diagrams. The fact that a quantum source is normalized means that the sum of the probabilities of possible emissions is 1. These probabilities are the squares of the inner products of all the pairs of interacting states in the meeting of two particles. How does this affect particles interactions in the pure quantum domain before amplitudes are squared to give probabilities in the Minkowski domain? We should examine von Neumann's isomorphism proof that matrix and wave approaches are the same which must have something to do with the Nyquist-Shannon theorem that unites continua with digitization. We are trying to replace QFT with the von Neumann vacuum via the idea that formal matters like the cosmological constant problem [are a product of confusing kinematic and dynamic, ie "mental" and "physical" systems]. Conversation: god speaks the Universe: let there be light. So in 60 years I have gone a full circle but the story is now much more flexible. God no longer speaks with absolute authority from a position of omnipotence, but from a position of omnipotent ignorance testing random ideas to see if they work: evolution by natural selection.

As soon as I have a good idea in the bag I can almost realize that I am an old age pensioner and take the day off, but must keep going.

At least my theological quest is so exciting that I no longer worry about the lithium and nickel collapse of my share portfolio. I am now looking forward to writing the book cognitive cosmogenesis based on the website cognitive cosmology and promoting it so well that it will finance my old age and enable me to refund all the support I have received from the people of Australia since I became a mendicant theologican in the Order of Preachers. Still struggling with cc24_trans_minkowski: working out how to create a transfinite Minkowski space from fundamental particles and quantum mechanics. The only way seems to be to begin with formal differences like angels

and elementary particles and then when we come to duplicate particles we need spacetime as the principle of evolution which means that in the formal cognitive world all individuation, and therefore the creation of Minkowski spacetime must be formal, ie quasi-angelic. This means we have to work out a process that creates and individuates particles simultaneously [the definition of creation?], that is it creates spacetime and fermions in the same breath, 4D, and then this Minkowski space structures gravitation to make the 4D curved Universe. Some serious creativity by both me and my baby Universe required here. So we should state the problem in 24.5 Minkowski space is built on Hilbert space via particles, bosons and gdermions snd continue the discussion through 24.6 - 24.8. And to think I wanted to finish this by Friday. Intense sleeping and dreaming required. The question was faced and solved with the matter as the principle of individuation for Platonic forms. The problem is how do we understand space and the answer seems to be that it differentiates indentical objects by putting them in a reference frame ie adding data to them, breaking the symmetry as registration numbers differentiate individual cars. This is easy to write but there is still no feeling there [because I have forgotten the role of the network in differentiating things by connecting them to one another, the bosons coupling the Hilbert spaces inside particles by carrying information from one to another and bonding them.]

The quantum network hanging on the memory of spacetime provides an address for every quantum of action in the history of the world starting from the beginning, gravitation, bosons and fermions, We have found a quantum evolutionary pattern for the standard model. Now we network it into a Universe with action and memory. Maybe now I am getting somewhere with cc24_trans_minkowski [by recalling the work I have already done on pages 20: Space-time—the cosmic memory and operating system, 21: Matter and spirit, 22: Cosmic theology and page 23: Network quantum electrodynamics.

Substrate: Electrodynamics, the most obvious. On the evolutionary paradigm every failure teaches me something, especially the dead ends.

Perhaps I have now worked out how to deal with cc24_trans_minkowski coupling the emergence of spacetime with the emergence of particles, starting with the trinity above, gravitation, bosons and fermions, emphasizing the role of evolution in the discovery of quantum mechanics and the development of the first squad of "angels", the fundamental particles of the standard model. [This is] a self sustaining group whose action is action, the annihilation of any element resulting in the creation of another element. Then we go to 24.3 Conversation, the kinematic - dynamic cycle, then 24.4 The future of quantum field theory.

The basic constraint on this work is that I should feel happy with it and be prepared to defend it. This revolves around a few points:

1. The rejection of the reality of continuity even though it has formal consistency via the pythagorean theorem. Quantum space therefore limited to Cn.

2. The foundational principles of logic and discrete action, connected to the quantum mechanical idea (repeated by Feynman's path integral)

that the discovery of a quantum mechanical hermitian operator points to the existence of a one-to-one logical interaction involving one quantum of action [but could involve any one (or all) of a countable number of shared eigenvectors].

3. We make a distinction between kinematic (moved [dead]) and dynamic (self moving [alive]) which lies at the foundation of the variation necessary to fuel evolution. This involves a reversal of the Scholastic notion of matter as purely passive, replacing it with the notion of energy, that is repeated action, ie reproduction. Scholasticism - Wikipedia

4. The understanding of real information and spirituality as a dynamic entity encoded in discrete fixed points like the symbols in this sentence.

5. Survival by reproduction, epitomized by the [fact that] quantum fixed points are kinetic insofar as quantum states are represented by kinetic rays such that ψ = ei θψ

6. Symmetry with repsect to complexity founded in Cantor's theorem reflecting the espansion of the initial set of elementary angels into network structures [of bosons and fermions] embracing the whole universe.

Another glorious idea: A collision in the LHC is just like the operation of a pendulum, the kinetic energy of the 14TeV protons becomes (contributes) a positive value to the [negative] gravitational potential [corresponding to the 14 TeV], gets operated on by quantum mechanics and then converted into 14 TeV of collision products [the energy of this quantum event being measured by the period required for this transformation rather than by frequency].

Another morning of despair. How do I save my story? My political motivation is on target but I worry about the physics, although quantum mechanics and evolution seem to fit together well given the kinematic/dynamic distinction which translates into spiritual/formal vs physical/dynamic but there remains confusion between ancient and modern beliefs in this context. Visit Auntie and come home refreshed to complete cc24_trans_minkowski which blends minkowski space, network and digital transfinite numbers (ie natural numbers) and communication via massless bosons quite perfectly. Then turn to chromodynamics, massive bosons and the fate of anti-matter.

Slowly trans_minkowski is taking shape in my mind and I am pleased that I have stuck to the countable Hilbert spaces and can apply Cantor's theorem to them, beginning with 0 = 2 and working up from there. Spin-statistics and particle anti-particle are two top twosomes.

Everett imagines that the wave function does not collapse in an observation but that every eigenfunction and eigenvalue remains in existence realized in another universe orthogonal to this universe but invisible to us. Here we do not imagine many universes but many particles all connected by communication networks based on the null geodesics made possible by the metric of Minkowski space and joining orthogonal regions of the universal space to one another. This many particle orthogonal Universe concept implements Cantor's transfinite expansion of a population of orthogonal angels. Tart this up a bit and it will serve as the substance of c24.6 On propagating angels: Multiplying the elementary particles of the standard model. All these particles are created by the reproduction of their predecessors, deriving energy from gravitation and deepening the potential well in which the Universe resides. Among its vast sandstone formations is perhaps the world’s largest art museum. But that didn’t stop an intrepid group of concertgoers from gathering in midtown Manhattan’s Aeolian Hall for “An Experiment in Modern Music.” The organizer, bandleader Paul Whiteman, wanted to show how jazz and classical music could come together. So he commissioned a new work by a 25-year-old Jewish-American upstart named George Gershwin. Gershwin’s contribution to the program, “Rhapsody in Blue,” would go on to exceed anyone’s wildest expectations, becoming one of the best-known works of the 20th century. Beyond the concert hall, it would appear in iconic films such as Woody Allen’s “Manhattan” and Disney’s “Fantasia 2000.” It was performed during the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, and if you ever fly on United Airlines, you’ll hear it playing during the preflight safety videos. I’ve spent nearly two decades researching and writing about this piece. To me, “Rhapsody” isn’t some static composition stuck in the past; rather, it’s a continuously evolving piece of music whose meaning has changed over time. Programming “Rhapsody” for concerts today has become somewhat of a double-edged sword. A century after it premiered, it remains a crowd favorite – and almost always guarantees a sold-out show.
