Sunday 20 September 2026

Everything begins with our consciousness of one another and our consciousness of ourselves both of which are consequences of communication which we see in primordial terms as the source of space driven by lust-for-life. From these little things big things grow and we apply this algorithm to the universe.

[page 345]

And we may see this coming from our diurnal cycle of sleep and wakefulness, reproduced in my daily cycle of going to sleep with a problem, a form of declining mental health and waking with an answer, a new picture of health. I am inclined to extrapolate this cycle to the whole universe, sleeping in eternal symmetry, waking with a purpose here called lust for life which serves here as an answer to all our problems, going from the dark nothingness of unconsciousness to the awaking of love, awareness of self and others, and on with the day’s business writing this stuff primarily for my mental health and the religious aim, based on theological science, of exporting mental health to the rest of the world, particularly to those so upset with themselves and their environment that they turn to violence, ranging from domestic violence to war. Embodied in the personalities of imperialists who see large scale killing as the path to power and seek semblance of personal peace, based, like the Trumps and Putins of this world, on implementing their personal delusions. The news, beginning with the cartoons, a catalogue of contradictions, exposing nonsense.

For this means exposing the delusion of continuity which lies hidden in sleep, the connection between night and day represented at the fundamental level by the qubit, two orthogonal states connected by mystery, the root of calculus, zero/zero, action at a distance.

Global theology is a common denominator based on global religion which comes as love god (the denominator) love one another (the numerator) the personal point of the lust for life. Sunday Age. Inching forward, each day a few new words, embracing one idea like last Saturday decoding a quantum vector using “logical” quanta of action as operations in the execution of a piece of software. The hermitian operator serves to delete the complex bridge between two logical states formally represented in a generic qubit, the foundation of Minkowski space.

Limits to language; and what it is to have communication with one another.

To acquire a language is to imagine a form of life. Its what we do and who we are than gives meaning to our words.

There are no genuine philosophical problems. Philosophy is just a byproduct of misunderstanding language. A movie of Wittgenstein quotes,

“Salvation is the only thing that concernsd me. Philosophy is a sickness of the mind. Felt shame after sex with Johnny.”

The urgency seems to have gone out of my writing business as I wait for my first royalty payment. Does this mean that my hidden self is happy with the idea that the Aquinas–Einstein; singularity is conscious and reflective and fit for Cognitive Cosmogenesis which seems to have been a serendipitous title for my book which arrived without any real conscious calculation, just me being my universal self, giving a strong boost to my ego as an intelligent inhabitant of the world not perverted by imperialist beliefs implicit in the divine outside creator model driven by the Roman Catholic Church. I am feeling ready to begin preaching at last after my fatal [fetal?] journey into a false faith.

Botanic Garden phone notes: We feel gravitation all the time; acceleration. Our favourite is gravitation, pure undifferentiated (?) energy which is both boson [potential, negative] and fermion [kinetic, positive] [Feynman total energy of the universe zero]. We then split it into fermions and bosons which are the basis of Minkowski space [maybe these particles picking up the positive and negative energy already present in gravitation as potential and kinetic, due to equivalence principle, gravitation is its own message to itself]. What Einstein’s theory does is write off the boson / fermion distinction which brings us back to the initial symmetry. He does this formally by using the tensor space which neutralizes duality through the metric that connects on thing to another, in this case time that connects energy to momentum by mapping time to space with the speed of light, c.

We are down in the weeds where the heuristic of simplicity holds sway. The field theory gravitationalists are imagining 4D gravitational bosons (spin 2) but there are no such things because gravitation has yet to bifurcate into fermions and bosons [now ??]. In gravitation the equivalence principle says fermion ≡ boson.

Now that I am making a bit of progress I no longer feel I ha to aim for a 14 hour day to have job and seven hours will so so I can relax a bit. Saving the world an be exhausting, as Jesus probably felt. An idea flashed by.What is it? L4L has hit it groove with Principles and commentary, getting down to th bottom of the universe where it is indistinguishable from divinity and taking the Roman Catholic Church and quantum field theory head on to cross the gnostic gap. Hopefully this will be the book that sinks physics into the church, my new Bible. In the beginning was the aquinas–Einstein symmetry.

Now it is only 7p and I have a long night of fun before me. Atmosphere. [As true now as when I wrote it 2 nights ago]

The Minkowski metric is conserved in Einstein space [so do we have ghost fermions and bosons?] which remains 4D containing light cones that explain causality which explains the precession of the ‘perihelions’ of orbits like mercury - Read MTW and apply the heuristic of simplicity to their 1000 page book whose structure comes not from gravitation per se but from the huge set of orbiting particles with momentum and energy supplies by the bifurcation of gravitation [when one is first discovering things they are very vague at the start.

Feynman page 121: does quantum formalism create energy and entropy by splitting zero energy gravitation into kinetic and potential, ie random causeless formalism in a substantial singularity creates energy and entropy at the same time when force (potential) = -matter (mass) so potential + mass = o. Looking for an avenue to propagate my divine world and am thinking that a necessary but sufficient process is to revise physics using pure quantum mechanics as a source of spacetime by the construction of fermions and bosons. Here we come to cl4l05_energy. Every time I go over QFT I see how much wronger it is the face of Aquinas’s equivalence principle that treats general relativity as a consequence of our structureless space with a coordinate free Minkowski metric, rewriting Misner, Thorne and Wheeler in the light of the heuristic of simplicity, c and the metric between the upper and lower indices in the Hilbert tensor space, grounding the whole story in reflective self consciousness ‘powered’ by logical / mathematical consistency of the Hilbert formalism. This underlines the fundamental error in AI which is constrained by the garbage in garbage out algorithm of computation bypassed in reality by the logical constraint on omnipotence whose ‘database’ [or ‘bandwidth’] is wide enough to [immediately] flag inconsistencies. A realistic AI can be

[page 353]

trained only on physical consistency. Looking for answers we must stand for a consistent base which in the case of the universe is an empty omnipotent system which can only imagine things consistent with itself which in this case is orthogonal Hilbert bases which are not orthogonal or inconsistent with the space they occupy because they are forms [which can superpose?]. Once thy become real they are individualized and each [fermion] needs a space of its own. You can superpose forms but nor realities [which makes us think that a photon is not much different from a Hilbert vector]. Realities can only communicate with bosons that can be superposed. [Bosons mapping onto one another or onto or out of fermions are the key to communication]. Fermions which cannot be superposed are the source of 3D Euclidean space so they can move around and talk to one another through a ‘field’ of superposable bosons which are in effect children of gravitation, the point at which fermions and boson are identical, a formalism whose points of reference are not [Einsteins special relativistic] railway stations but abstract gaussian coordinates. [Einstein succeeded by flying in the realm of abstraction and it works, as Hilbert vectors with the complexity processed out of them by hermitian operators drive are the operational software of quantum mechanics, made real by energy],

The gnostic gap is real, recognized by theologians but not by physicists like Einstein, who gave the same reality to gaussian formalism as he did to railway stations. From this point of view gravitation is abstract 4D spacetime without any particles which can collapose into black holes when too many particles concentrate in one ‘space’. [It is amaing how al this stuff i casputd in the mathematics. Hawking & Ellis (1975): The Large Scale Structure of Spacetime

Feynman (2002), Richard, Feynman Lectures on Gravitation, Westview Press 2002 ' The Feynman Lectures on Gravitation are based on notes prepared during a course on gravitational physics that Richard Feynman taught at Caltech during the 1962-63 academic year. For several years prior to these lectures, Feynman thought long and hard about the fundamental problems in gravitational physics, yet he published very little. These lectures represent a useful record of his viewpoints and some of his insights into gravity and its application to cosmology, superstars, wormholes, and gravitational waves at that particular time. The lectures also contain a number of fascinating digressions and asides on the foundations of physics and other issues. '

Hawking (1975), Steven W, and G F R Ellis, The Large Scale Structure of Space-Time, Cambridge UP 1975 Preface: Einstein's General Theory of Relativity . . . leads to two remarkable predictions about the universe: first that the final fate of massive stars is to collapse behind an event horizon to form a 'black hole' which will contain a singularity; and secondly that there is a singularity in our past which constitutes, in some sense, a beginning to our universe. Our discussion is principally aimed at developing these two results.'

Nicholls (2025), Jeffrey, Cognitive Cosmogenesis: A systematic unification of physics and theology, Austin Macauley Publishers 2025 ' This book is a personal narrative of those events and a defense of the belief that the universe itself is divine. The central argument is that by embracing this reality and abandoning notions of supernatural deities, humanity can resolve its problems. The universe, it is argued, is self-creating, and a proper understanding of physics leads to a plausible scientific theology. The natural intelligence inherent in the universe, from cellular organization to ecosystems, far surpasses any artificial intelligence. Comprehending this natural order, the author suggests, would make achieving world peace relatively straightforward. The book contends that modern theologians should recognize the physical world, rather than ancient texts, as the foundation for credible theology. It also addresses the historical entanglement of religion and politics, asserting that the model of creation presented herein fundamentally rejects the imperialistic ambitions that have fueled genocidal holy wars.'

Aishwarya Lakshmi (2026_08_18), A Hindu soldier and a Muslim poet show how religious identities overlapped in 19th‑century India, ' The growing assertion of a majority Hindu identity is fueling debates about religious pluralism in India. A 2025 Washington-based research group report documented a steady, incremental increase in hate speech since 2023 targeting religious minorities in India, while Human Rights Watch reported a rise in religious and communal violence in 2024. Much of this rhetoric and violence has been justified as defending religious identity.
When India became independent in 1947, its constitution affirmed a commitment to religious diversity and pluralism as a national ideal.
India is one of the world’s most religiously diverse countries. While a majority of its population is Hindu, it is home to the world’s third-largest Muslim population – nearly 172 million. Christians, Sikhs, Jains and many indigenous traditions also form part of its rich religious landscape.
As a scholar of late 18th- and 19th-century India, I have studied everyday writings, military records and diaries from the period. They reveal that India was imagined as a sacred land in different ways. Two accounts illuminate this way of being – the memoirs of a Hindu soldier, born in a small village, and those of an elite Muslim poet from Delhi. Despite their different backgrounds, they describe a region where religious identities coexist with multiple forms of belonging.[. . .]
Sitaram Pande, a soldier in the Bengal Army of the British East India Company, wrote a memoir about his travels and time in military service.
His experiences span the years leading up to and after the revolt of 1857. That year, Indian soldiers serving the British East India Company rebelled against the British commanding officers, killing many of them and sparking an uprising that spread rapidly across much of northern India. After a prolonged siege and fighting, the British recaptured Delhi and brutally suppressed the rebellion. In its aftermath, India was brought under direct control of the British Crown.”
He describes cities he travels through in Hindustan in romantic terms, borrowing from the paradise-like landscapes, where land is depicted in the lush, idyllic ways of Sanskrit poetry. Thus, in the city of Jaipur: “Cuckoos were singing on the mango trees, and peacocks strutted about in shady places.” Pande is a Brahmin and practices Hindu dietary and ritual practices, such as traveling with his own pots and cookware, in order to draw water from the well and cook his food. At the time Brahmins, traditionally, could accept only food cooked by another Brahmin. When he returns from Afghanistan, he has to perform a prayer to be allowed to return to his village, as he has ventured beyond the sacred geography of Hindustan. Yet, during his travels he rescues a Hindu woman forced to be the mistress of an Arab mercenary and marries her. He goes against prevailing norms of sexual and religious purity. The woman is not a Brahmin and is considered sexually “impure” – because she is not a virgin – as per prevailing norms.
In a chapter titled “The Lovely Thakurin,” Pande describes how he rescues the woman from her captor and places her in the care of the regiment. Gradually, his “heart became inflamed with love,” and though he is warned she will bring “disgrace,” he decides to marry her.[. . .] The poet Mirza Ghalib’s memoir, “Dastanbuy” – loosely translated as a “bouquet of flowers” – is an account of his years in Delhi during the revolt of 1857. The city was the site of prolonged fighting between rebel Indian forces and the British East India Company army. The Mughal empire – the Islamic dynasty that had ruled much of northern India since the 16th century – was in its final years. After British forces recaptured Delhi, much of the city was destroyed and the last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar was exiled. For Ghalib, Delhi was a cosmopolitan city where Hindus, Muslims and the British lived and worked side by side. As he notes, here “we composed our verses and compiled our diwans (collection of poems).” Ghalib was a devout Muslim yet drank wine despite Islam’s prohibition on alcohol. In his poetry and in his letters, he expresses a belief in the “peaceful coexistence” for all faiths. Ghalib describes Delhi as a “garden” underneath the “stars” of the “Lord, the Emperor,” Bahadur Shah Zafar. In the Quran, paradise is described as an ideal garden. In practice, the Mughals in India, from the 15th century onward, had a rich tradition of landscaping and building waterfront and palace gardens, modeling themselves after heavenly authority and their cities after the heavenly garden. Delhi, with its palaces, forts and gardens, echoed this ethos. Ghalib describes the city, prior to its destruction by the British in 1857, in idyllic terms as “filled with tulips and the scent of roses.” back

Hari Kunzru (2016_07_21), Trump and Me by Mark Singer review – a lot of laughs but then horror, ' From Brexit to terrorist massacres to the deaths of globally beloved musicians, 2016 has been a dispiriting year, and nothing about it has felt more dispiriting than the obligation to pay attention to the supremely asinine ramblings of Donald J Trump. Through the vehicle of his unlikely presidential run, Manhattan’s most insecure billionaire has finally found a way to force the silent majority – those who would rather eat glass than watch his TV show – to pay attention. It feels like a dick move, but then the dick move is quintessentially Trump. There is probably a ghostwritten book “by” Trump called The Art of the Dick Move.
In 1997, for the purposes of a New Yorker profile, the writer Mark Singer was forced to pay attention to Trump for an extended period of time. As David Remnick, the magazine’s current editor, makes clear in his wry introduction to the lightly expanded version of this piece, issued in a nice-looking hardcover as Trump and Me, Singer would rather have been doing something else. This is understandable, but luckily for us he endured and produced a viciously entertaining demolition of the branding savant with the peach pompadour who was to become the Republican party nominee for the most powerful elected office in the world. back

I also noticed the same comfort with uncertainty in researchers further along in their careers. In meetings, our group leader often became most animated when discussing projects we had not yet figured out. His eyes would light up as he described a question we might pursue, a mechanism we might test, or an uncertainty we might turn into an experiment. He did not speak about the unknown as something embarrassing, to be hidden. He spoke about it as something worth moving toward.>br> Only then did I understand what I had missed in that interview: I had treated the moment like a test I had failed. John von Neumann (1929_05_10), Proof of the Ergodic Theorem and the H-Theorem in Quantum Mechanics, ' Abstract: It is shown how to resolve the apparent contradiction between the macroscopic approach of phase space and the validity of the uncertainty relations. The main notions of statistical mechanics are re-interpreted in a quantum-mechanical way, the ergodic theorem and the H-theorem are formulated and proven (without “assumptions of disorder”), followed by a discussion of the physical meaning of the mathematical conditions characterizing their domain of validity. [. . .]
The object of the present paper is the clarification of the relations between the macroscopic and the microscopic point of view of complex systems; that is, the discussion of the question why the known thermodynamic methods of statistical mechanics make it possible to make statements about incompletely (viz., only macroscopically) known systems that are correct most of the time. In particular, first, how the peculiar, seemingly irreversible behavior of entropy arises, and second, why the statistical properties of the (fictitious) micro-canonical ensemble can be attributed to the incompletely known (real) system. And these questions shall be attacked with the means of quantum mechanics. back

Junhan Wang et al. (2026_09_17), Geopolitical tensions with the US accelerate Chinese firms’ leveraging of science, ' Science drives corporate innovation not only by solving immediate technical problems but also by serving as a “map” that clarifies the causal mechanisms underlying technological advances (1, 2). Although firms increasingly rely on this scientific foundation to expand their capabilities, it is unclear how they reconfigure their engagement with science when sudden external shocks disrupt their access to established technology networks. This question is especially salient in China, where firms are increasingly pursuing technological innovation while facing escalating US-China geopolitical tensions and restricted knowledge flows (3, 4). Our analyses below reveal that US trade sanctions have generated consequences that US policy-makers may not have fully anticipated. Rather than merely restricting Chinese firms’ access to proprietary technologies, these measures are associated with accelerated engagement with scientific knowledge, reflected in both intensified use of publicly accessible science in patenting and increased participation in scientific knowledge production.' back
