Physics01Relativity: Deterministic = flat

Indeterministic = differential = transform = computation

[page 111]

The fundamental role of religion is the promotion and management of love.

Relative computability adds curvature by making things closer together (Riemann) or further apart (Lobachevsky) than in a flat space. Ie results can be obtained more quickly or more slowly.

Saturday 9 December 2000

Another twelve hours sleep with vigorous dreaming and wake up as tired as I went to sleep. Is this a sea change in my internal network? Apart from possibly getting a little sunstruck on Friday this seems to be the only explanation apart from oncoming illness, which seems unlikely at this moment. The problem in hand at the moment is the development of natural-spirit : love : marketing.

Where the electron resides is a zone where the attraction and repulsion are balanced but this is not a line or a surface, but rather a region of space. The coarse grainedness of the Universe smears the

[page 122]

electron into a region of finite probability density whose integral with respect to an electron is one. This region is the electron orbital. Although it is spread in space, it is quite sharp with respect to energy and momentum.

This spread is made possible by 'logical tolerance', the obverse of logical confinement.

Logical confinement: the generative constraints that small cardinal numbers place on large ones.

Logical tolerance: the size of the space of true but unprovables generated by the operation of the consistent logical space.

Continuous symmetry is necessary to make motion logically conceivable, because we would like to say 'natura non fecit saltem' = no jumps, no step functions but all at some point continuous Cinfinity.

The net is a natural place for selling software, not hardware. Even books at the scale (and probably efficiency) of Amazon seem to make a loss. The product must be downloadable.

The fact is that each system must do whatever is necessary to survive or die.

Back to religion : human software

Theology: analysis, science
Religion: synthesis, technology
Spirit: love, marketing, download (compare to band X's creed)
Naked: love : sharing : bonding.

Fundamentalism: totalitarian bureaucracy

Natural-spirit

I believe in God
the father
almighty.
creator of heaven and earth

A network is a mixture of hierarchical and peer processes.

NaturalSpirit: keep your eyes wide open and respond to the incoming data in a credible way.

We're not yet sure what the product is, but we have settled on the method, the application of the scientific method, the perennial method. To learn, look, think, look again. To do, act, think and act again. Looking and doing are inverse processes: correlating yourself with the world; correlating the world with yourself.

We teach our children to be a successful one of us. In practice this means not one of them, and this fact is the root of war. TV shows heavily armed infants fighting quite frequently. We know it is driven by an instinct for survival. The fact that this instinct is expressed in armed violence is a function both of the individual

[page 115]

and the society or societies the individual inhabits. As gentle as we may be, we all know that we will fight if pressed.

The Peace arises when pressure on individuals is reduced. How do we reduce pressure? The physical answer is by expanding.

Hallett, Michael, Cantorian set theory and limitation of size, Oxford UP 1984 Jacket: 'This book will be of use to a wide audience, from beginning students of set theory (who can gain from it a sense of how the subject reached its present form), to mathematical set theorists (who will find an expert guide to the early literature), and for anyone concerned with the philosophy of mathematics (who will be interested by the extensive and perceptive discussion of the set concept).'
