In a sexual evolutionary system, love conquers death by opening the door to immortality.

When many states are available a quantum system will oscillate between them rather as I do with my widely spread family and as business people do when their interests are geographically extended (at all scales from walking around the office to flying around the world).

We observe that the world obeys quantum mechanics, and that the quantum mechanical description of two events occurs in a Hilbert space which is the tensor product of the Hilbert spaces containing the two constituent events. From these observations we conclude that the event we call the Universe takes place in the Cantor Universe.

At the heart of analysis, computability, engineering and evolution are situations where linear increases in resources lead to exponential increases in precision (decreases of error).

Entropy is conserved (unitarity). What changes is the distribution of entropy between time (energy) and space (momentum)

Distance ~= 1/correlation ~=1/communication rate

(normalized). My rate of communication with myself is 1 (cf the self energy of the electron problem). Things more distant from me correlate less, ie inverse square law, exponential laws, etc.

The essential feature of natural religion is that it accepts that we are not exempt from the forces of nature. In the past, many religions have claimed such an exemption. First among these is the Roman Catholic Church, which thus becomes the bad person in this story. For it seems common (and is perhaps necessary) for each successive religion to badmouth its predecessors), The Bible is a majestic literary example of this feature.

At what ratio of certainty over motivation (eg poverty, hubris) can we publicize and promote things. The economic system tolerates quacks as well as honest tradespeople; as long as there are people who will pay a profitable price for their produce, however deceptive, irresponsibly or even honestly marketed.

A new definition of bonum honestum ; a good whose responses are equal in variety with its environment. In other words, we cannot rely on any machine that cannot handle the whole space of possible inputs that it faces (like steel too cold to be rolled, or wood with nails in it)

One purpose of the open market is to induce honest dealing, that is dealing which is open to the scrutiny (and possible depreciation or promotion) of all 'stakeholders'.

One idea that seems central is that we leave it to the product to promote itself. This allows for a slow evolutionary growth in product quality rather than forcibly selling vast quantities of premanufactured and poorly designed items. We advocate the evolutionary approach because it seems the only possible way given that intelligent design is formally self-contradictory. In other words, one

cannot make anything closed last forever in an open and expanding Universe.

We start by working on cases, hoping eventually to find those features which are common to all (an infinite number) cases. Russell's paradox is that ALL == UNBOUNDED.

The essence of business is to make things that work at least well enough to persuade the potential customer to buy one at the price.

Islam: submission to the laws of God (which we take to be identical to the laws of nature)

A functioning religion must take notice of the foundations of communication theory because it is basically communication which makes the unification of diverse agents possible. So we try to look at all society's ups and downs as features of functional or dysfunctional communication. After Shannon's theorems, the essence of communication lies in recursive function theory, the design and execution of systems that favour functional communication and deprecate dysfunctional communication, this leading to the meliorist solution of an infinite series that converges to some definite limit, 'the perfect'. Of course, in practical terms, it requires a well planned countably infinite number of terms to define a particular point, so it will in effect take the observable life of the Universe to attain.

All we need to know is that quantum mechanics tells us that the observable Universe is pixellated (pixel size proportional to one quantum of action) in four dimensional entity embracing both space and time.

The formalist approach also supplies self protection in that I am suggesting but not committed to various applications and results of the formalism as reported here. People may download the software and run it for themselves

[page 46]

and decide whether or not to keep it. This process is not instantaneous but has momentum. Any change of momentum requires force, that is investment, to bring it about. This force results from the time and energy (I) put into developing a model of the evolutionary network world in which we exist.

The foundation of theology, and recursive function theory, is the distinction between the thing, which has meaning in a certain environment, and the description of a thing, which has meaning in another environment.

The natural market for religion is politics. This is the point at which religious ideas reach practical form in legislation shaping the structure and function of the body politics. The output of a religion is this a political platform, or, recursively, software designed to express and justify political platforms of sufficient variety to capture the aspirations of religion, ie its definition of heaven, the goal.

DESIGN = GOAL
EVOLUTION = VIABILITY

I long ago learned to reject people who advocate unnatural acts for theoretical or ideological reason. My archetypical experience in this regard was the taking of vows rejecting property, freedom and sexuality (poverty, chastity and obedience).

Is the Theology Company a religion or a religious consultant and advisor? We opt for consultant.

We lay down a standard platform of beliefs which all in fact relate to communication protocols. We then compare other global religions and use this as a foundation for planning transitions (brand changes) from traditional to natural religion.
