The basic event in the Universe is falling in love (ie making a connection). In human terms, love implies totality or top level connection involving maximum bandwidth and minimum secrecy, in Biblical terms two shall become one flesh, that is a seamless (transparent) network without any passwords: in network terms two users become one user.
An important feature of networks which contributes to the unity of the world is that they can be joined seamlessly and one network (a physical layer) may form the foundation of another network (a user layer) which may be topologically independent of the corresponding physical layer. USER = LOGICAL.
